For NRIs looking to invest in Indian real estate, Dholera SIR presents a unique opportunity — but navigating the regulatory landscape requires clarity. Here’s your complete guide.

FEMA Compliance: Under FEMA regulations, NRIs and PIOs can purchase immovable property in India (except agricultural land, farmland, or plantation property). Dholera SIR plots classified as NA (Non-Agricultural) residential land are fully eligible for NRI purchase.

Documentation Required: Valid passport, OCI/PIO card, PAN card, NRE/NRO bank account details, and address proof (Indian and overseas).

Payment Process: All transactions must be routed through NRE/NRO accounts in INR. Foreign currency payments are not accepted for property transactions in India.

Repatriation: NRIs can repatriate the sale proceeds of property purchased through NRE account funds, subject to RBI guidelines and a maximum of two residential properties.

Mugasa’s NRI Desk: Our dedicated NRI support team handles documentation, legal verification, and virtual site visits to ensure a seamless buying experience from anywhere in the world.
